Now Screening Josh Hartnett in ‘T Takes’ Episode 1

Today, T begins screening “T Takes,” our 12-part series of short films starring Hollywood’s bright young things. Shot by the emerging New York writer and director Brody Baker during the recent Sundance festival, these 12 improvised vignettes were conceived to be viewed sequentially. Each episode, starring a different actor, will build on the previous one. We begin with episode 1, featuring Josh Hartnett. (Hartnett fans can also look forward to his next film “August,” in which he plays an arrogant, boom-era dotcom exec in the days leading up to 9/11.) We won’t give anything away about the “T Takes” denouement, but let’s just say that you won’t want to miss how the series unfolds.

T Takes returns tomorrow morning 18th march at 10 a.m. with the second episode. Watch the video online here at NYTIMES.

A Piece of the "Rock" for Josh?

Could silver-screen hunkster Josh Hartnett be making the move to the small screen? The 29-year-old Black Dahlia star is rumored to be thinking about proving his comedic prowess on NBC's hit sitcom 30 Rock.

On March 8, the former beau of Scarlett Johansson was spotted exiting the NBC building in NYC's Rockefeller Center after taking part in a script read-through with Tina Fey, creator and star of 30 Rock.

"He's really funny!" one insider tells OK!. "He fit right in with the cast."

And though a rep for the network says Josh has not been cast, sources tell OK! that he might sign on for a four- to six-episode deal that would have him playing a potential love interest for Tina's character.

"Everyone's excited," says the source. "We wish we could keep him longer."

TRAILER "AUGUST"

The trailer for the upcoming Josh Hartnett drama "August" has appeared online. The film centers on two brothers fighting to keep their start-up company afloat on Wall Street during August 2001, a month before the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

foto1 The trailer shows lots of business dealings and the many troubles they get Josh into. Surprisingly, there is no mentioning of the 9/11 events, even though the tagline at the end states: "August comes before the fall." The double meaning refers to the month of August being the last month of summer and the month prior to when the terrorist attacks took place. Josh is joined by Naomie Harris and Rip Torn.

"August" is scheduled to hit theaters sometime this year. You can watch the trailer here [PROCEED]
